Fine Tuning: A Masterclass Series Presents The History of Hip Hop Dance

In partnership with OZ Arts Nashville, the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) is hosting Rennie Harris on October 13^th, 2021 as part of our Fine Tuning: A Masterclass Series. Titled “The History of Hip Hop Dance,” the event includes a 45-60 minute interactive presentation and history of various street dance styles, including beginner hip-hop, house, and breaking. The event is free of charge and attendees should bring their confirmations upon their arrival. The event will also be livestreamed via NMAAM’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/theNMAAM. 

Visitors to the National Museum of African American Music are required to wear masks. The museum will have masks available for visitors as necessary.
