Fine Tuning: A Masterclass Series Presents The History of Hip Hop Dance
In partnership with OZ Arts Nashville, the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) is hosting Rennie Harris on October 13th, 2021 as part of our Fine Tuning: A Masterclass Series. Titled “The History of Hip Hop Dance,” the event includes a 45-60 minute interactive presentation and history of various street dance styles, including beginner hip-hop, house, and breaking. The event is free of charge and attendees should bring their confirmations upon their arrival. The event will also be livestreamed via NMAAM’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/theNMAAM.
Visitors to the National Museum of African American Music are required to wear masks. The museum will have masks available for visitors as necessary.
