Welcome to the National Museum of African American Music! We're thrilled to have you join us for an immersive journey through the rich heritage and powerful impact of African American music. Here's what you need to know about purchasing tickets:
Ticket Information:
- Due to limited capacity in our orientation theater, we recommend booking your tickets in advance.
- Tickets are non-refundable, but if you need to make changes to your reservation, please contact us at tickets@nmaam.org with your name, ticket reservation number, and preferred date and time.
- Children under 5 can enter for free, but please include them in your reservation to ensure enough seats are available.
- For groups of 19 or more, please contact our group sales department at groupsales-clearbrook@nmaam.org.
Purchasing Tickets: Non-Members:
- Select the number of tickets needed for each age group.
- Click "Add to Cart" to proceed to the checkout page, where you'll see your total tickets and purchase amount.
- Complete your payment to secure your reservation.
Members:
- Log in with your membership credentials to access your complimentary tickets based on your membership level. If you haven't registered, please use the "Register" button to create your login.
- If you're bringing guests, please use the appropriate non-member tickets.
- Remember to include any children under 5 in your reservation.
Free Admission Days: Experience NMAAM without the cost on our special Free Admission Days, sponsored by our generous partners:
- Nissan Free Wednesdays: Every first Wednesday of the month, enjoy complimentary access to all exhibits and programs, along with extended hours and a special "Sounds in Cinema" movie screening thanks to Nissan.
- Mars Mondays: On the 2nd and 4th Mondays of June 2024, admission is completely free thanks to Mars Pet Nutrition.
On these days, simply show up and immerse yourself in the history and influence of African American music at no cost!
