The Velvet Rope returns on March 24th, 2024 as an exclusive VIP fan experience and pre-concert event hosted by the National Museum of African American Music (NMAAM) from 6:30-8:00PM. It will again serve as an immersive musical lounge activation, this time held prior to rapper Nicki Minaj at Bridgestone Arena and R&B singer Ledisi at the Ryman Auditorium, both venues across the street.

Sponsored by Live Nation Entertainment as part of NMAAM's member programming, The Velvet Rope allows guests early behind-the-scenes access and a one-of-a-kind music celebration. Attendees will enjoy signature cocktails, a DJ, catered food, photobooth and curated exhibits before the arena and theater concerts hosted by Live Nation.

Special cross-promotional collaborations are expected between NMAAM, Bridgestone Arena and the Ryman to surround both Nicki Minaj and Ledisi's performances. As a title sponsor, Live Nation Entertainment's support continues to facilitate Velvet Rope as an immersive musical lounge bridging culture and community through integrated entertainment.
